Renowned chef Goran Hrastovčak is in charge of the daily kitchen operations at Harry's Picolo restaurant, while the creative directors are Matteo Metullio and Davide De Pra, from the Trieste restaurant of the same name that holds two Michelin stars

The Rovinj restaurant Agli Amici has retained its two Michelin stars, while one star is still held by Noel and Dubravkin Put in Zagreb, Korak in Plešivica, Cap Aureo and Monte in Rovinj, Nebo in Rijeka, Alfred Keller in Mali Lošinj, Boškinac in Novalja, Pelegrini in Šibenik, Krug in Split, LD Restaurant in Korčula and Restaurant 360 in Dubrovnik. Harry's Piccolo in Poreč, located within Valamar's 5-star Pical Resort, is a new addition to the list of Croatian restaurants with a Michelin star. Congratulations to everyone, and we hope they earn even more stars next year.

Harry's Piccolo is a fine-dining restaurant opened this year. It has brought to Istria the distinctive concept and culinary vision of chefs Matteo Metulli and Davide De Pra, whose restaurant in Trieste holds two Michelin stars.

Inspired by the Parenzana railway

Upon opening, Valamar announced that Harry's Piccolo would blend the flavors of Croatia, Italy and Slovenia, reinterpreting local traditions through contemporary, precise, and authentic cuisine. The inspiration is the historic Parenzana railway, which once connected Trieste, Poreč and Slovenia and now serves as a symbol of the region's cultural connectivity. Each dish is conceived as a dialogue between cultures, focusing on quality and the balance of flavors.

Goran Hrastovčak, a well-known chef on the Poreč gourmet scene, is in charge of daily kitchen operations, while Matteo Metullio and Davide De Pra, chefs from the eponymous two-Michelin-starred restaurant in Trieste, are the project's creative directors.

Local ingredients and seasonal menus

Their collaboration combines international experience, respect for local ingredients and an innovative approach to cuisine, offering guests a unique experience through seasonal tasting menus, refined wine pairings and signature cocktails.
