It is currently the most expensive wine in the world, according to data from the search engine Wine-Searcher, which aggregates prices from over 90,000 wine shops and retailers across all continents. The grapes for this Pinot Noir come from a vineyard spanning just 0.27 hectares, so it is clear just how scarce this wine is. That explains why its price has risen from approximately €31,500 to nearly €45,000 over the past 12 months. Five red Burgundies (Pinot Noirs), four white Burgundies (Chardonnays), and a Mosel Riesling make up the list of the ten most expensive wines in the world right now.
