Three gold and three silver medals were won by Enosophia wines at the prestigious German evaluation Mundus Vini Grand International Wine Award 2026. The structured and characterful Miraz Syrah 2019, adorned with gold, was also declared the best red wine from Croatia and earned the title of Best in Show Croatia Red.
Chardonnay and Memoria were also gilded
Golden Miraz Chardonnay 2024. limited edition, gold awarded, was aged for 11 months in Slavonian oak. It is an elegant wine that combines power and finesse. Gold medal was also brought to Feričanci by Memoria, a sparkling wine made from Rhine Riesling using the traditional method of bottle fermentation. Five years of aging on the lees endowed it with complexity, texture, and gravitas.
Three distinctly different yet equally ambitious, top-tier wines won gold medals, confirming their world-class status. Miraz Syrah reflects our terroir and the meticulous care taken in both the vineyard and the cellar. Miraz Chardonnay is a perfectly balanced wine where fruitiness intertwines with the subtle influence of oak, while Memoria demonstrates the importance of time in the production of sparkling wines. Spending five years on the lees is a decision that requires patience and persistence, and the gold medal confirms our success in this endeavor, noted Enosophia oenologist Matija Vasilj.
Three silver medals for fresh wines from the 2025 vintage
He added that the awards are not the result of a single vintage, but rather of the systematic work and clear vision of the entire team. Three fresh wines from the 2025 vintage won silver medals: Nobelman Sauvignon Blanc, Trs No. 5, and Graševina Dika, further confirming the breadth and quality of the Enosophia brand.
From a business perspective, six medals from one of the world’s most influential wine competitions, spanning all wine categories, further strengthen the brand’s positioning in the premium segment, noted Marija Piper, Sales and Marketing Director at the Enosophia winery.

She added that it is particularly gratifying that the awarded wines span various styles and categories: red, white, and sparkling. This confirms the breadth and high quality of Feričanci wines while also reinforcing Slavonia’s reputation as a serious wine region.
