On the slopes of Orahovica, where the mighty Papuk meets the fertile plains of Slavonia, an exceptional Frankovka wine is born. This magnificent grape variety has been cultivated at the Old Cellar in Orahovica since 1894. The winery set aside a portion of its Frankovka to craft a liqueur that enriches the authentic character of Slavonia with complex layers of flavor and aroma. Using select grapes, they first produced the wine and then, without adding artificial flavorings or colorants, and using only carefully chosen herbs plus natural blueberry juice, crafted the Frankovka liqueur. It is a completely natural product that is excellent enjoyed on its own, paired with desserts, or used as an ingredient in cocktails. Martin Albus Frankovka liqueur is available in specialty shops, restaurants, and online: a 0.7-liter bottle costs 27 euros at the eKupi online store.
