The 23rd edition of Ružica Vinodola, one of the Kvarner region's most recognizable cultural and tourism events, which has been preserving and showcasing Vinodol's heritage for over two decades, has concluded. Although the program was adjusted this year due to a forecast of bad weather, the event drew numerous visitors and offered a blend of tradition, entertainment, gastronomy, and a celebration of wine culture.

Nine young women participated in this year's competition: Anita Šarar, Julija Cetina, Nika Tatalović, Dora Kabalin, Ružica Orešković, Kristina Cerović, Tara Zurak, Ana Kovačević, and Veronika Ligatić. The competitive segment began on Saturday in the Old Town of Novi Vinodolski, where the candidates tested their skills in events inspired by traditional life in the Vinodol region. The contestants demonstrated agility, resourcefulness, and knowledge, while a large crowd of spectators watched the competition, cheering them on with applause and enthusiastic support.

In addition to the competitive program, Ružica Vinodola offered a wide range of other attractions. Traditional crafts and skills were showcased at Vinodolski Zakon Square, while Frankopan Square hosted a wine festival featuring exhibitors from various wine-growing regions across Croatia. Petar Dragojević and Trio Mirakul provided the evening's musical entertainment, further enlivening the atmosphere in the town center.
