At the Wine Festival, visitors will have the opportunity to taste wines from different Croatian wine-growing regions and learn new wine stories. In addition to wine pleasures and a musical program, they will also be presented the Novljanski pjat (Plate of Novi Vinodol), a special dish designed for this event that, through a combination of local ingredients, brings the authentic taste of this region.
Ancient crafts and local products
At the Trg Vinodolskog zakona (Square of the Vinodol Law) , the emphasis will be on preserving tradition through presentations of old crafts and a fair of local products. Visitors will be able to learn about basketry, blacksmithing, herbalism, pottery, wood carving, mosaic, wool felting, čunčanje, old games and numerous other traditional skills that testify to the rich heritage of Vinodol.
On Sunday, August 23, Ružica Vinodola moves to the vineyards of the Pavlomir Wine House. In the authentic vineyard setting, from 8:00 PM, the candidates will show their viticultural skills, while the atmosphere will be complemented by the Insula group and the Nebuloza trio, with a rich gastronomic offer and top-quality wines. At around 11:00 PM, the Ružica Vinodola 2026, her companions and the most likeable Ružica will be announced.
Television will film it
The winners will receive valuable prizes, including a cruise on the Adriatic for two people and an autumn weekend in Rovinj. Both days, the competition program will be hosted by Borna Šmer, and we are especially pleased that Ružica Vinodola will be filmed this year as part of the new season of the series Naše male fešte (Our Little Festivities), which is produced for HRT by the production company Izvan fokus.
